Talking Quran Interpretation Unveiled
The Bayan-ul-Vahy software, containing the first taking interpretation of the Quran, was unveiled Friday night in a ceremony in Qom.
The ceremony was attended by Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani and Hojat-ol-Islam Saeed Javadi Amoli, head of the Isra Foundation.
Hojat-ol-Islam Javadi Amoli in a speech urged that given the developments in the information and communications technologies, top scientific Quranic works should be presented via the latest technologies to researchers and those interested.
He said the Isra Foundation has been leading the way and has introduced the Bayan-ul-Vahy software that contains the Tasnim Exegesis of the Quran.
Hojat-ol-Islam Javadi Amoli noted that 60 researchers, scholars and experts spent 26000 hours to prepare the software.
He described it as a source of pride for the Muslim world, Shi’ism and seminaries.
Head of the Isra Foundation further highlighted the important status of the holy city of Qom and said currently seminarians from over 100 nationalities are studying religious sciences in the city.
