New Islamic Magazine Published in Russia
The first volume of a new Islamic magazine titled “Sun of Islam” was published in Penza Province of Russia.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the magazine has been published by the Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs in the province.
The 60-page first issue contains articles on the history of Islam in Russia, particularly Penza Province, the role and status of Islam in development of the region and the history of Muslims and the Holy Quran.
Abdul Ra’uf Sabirov, head of the religious office of the province said the new magazine has been received very well not only by Muslims of the region, but by Muslims all over the country.
Following the request made by Islamic centers and mosques in various parts of Russia, the coming issues of the magazine will be distributed among the centers, he added.
