35th Nat’l Quran Contest to Start in Mazandaran
The 35th edition of the national Quran competition will kick off in the northern province of Mazandaran on Monday.
Vali, director of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization’s Quranic Affairs Department told IQNA that Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani will officiate the opening ceremony this morning.
He said head of the organization Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Mohammadi and Supreme Leader’s representative in Mazandaran Ayatollah Noorollah Tabresi will also address the ceremony.
According to Mr. Yarahmadi, a Quranic animation clip produced on the theme of Surah Nasr and the special stamp of the competition will be unveiled at the program.
He went on to say that an exhibition will be held on the sidelines of the Quranic competition, showcasing Quranic works such as books and software in 15 pavilions.
