Following Path of Holy Prophet (PBUH) Secret of Islamic World’s Success
Following the path of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the secret of the Muslim world’s success, a grand source of emulation said.
Speaking in a meeting with participants and organizers of the 18th Quran and Hadith Olympiad of Al-Mustafa International University on Monday, Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi added that if the Muslim Ummah seeks success, it should try to adopt the characteristics of the Holy prophet (PBUH).
Quoting verse 128 of Surah Al-Tawba, “There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful,”, he said God enumerates several characteristics of the Holy prophet (PBUH) in this verse which the Muslim Ummah should try to have these characteristics.
He referred to the Unity Week and underlined the importance of unity in the Muslim world.
The grand Ayatollah said the enemies are afraid of Muslim unity and that is why they attempt to spread disunity in the Islamic world.
He went on to say that disunity runs counter to the teachings of the Quran and Islam.
