Forum about Holy Prophet (PBUH) Held in Zanzibar

Aspects of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) character were discussed at a forum held on the occasion of the Unity Week in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, the one-day program was organized by Iran Cultural Center in Tanzania concurrent with the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
It was attended by Shia and Sunni Muslim scholars including Sheikh Abdullah Talib Abdullah, head of Endowments and Charity Affairs Department of the region, Sheikh Khalid Muhammad Amrishu, head of Tanzania's Haj Affairs Department, and Hojat-ol-Islam Sheikh Seyyed Shams Al-Hassan Zeidi, Friday prayers leader and imam of Shia Muslims’ mosque in Zanzibar.
Addressing the forum, Iran's cultural attaché in Tanzania congratulated the participants on the auspicious occasion and stressed that it is necessary for humans to know various aspects of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) character and act upon his tradition to gain salvation.
As honorary guests of the forums, Sheikh Abdullah Talib Abdullah, Khalid Muhammad Amrishu and Hojat-ol-Islam Sheikh Shams Al-Hassan Zeidi then presented papers on the theme of the event.
The forum concluded with choral religious songs performed by a group titled Al-Safah Al-Nabawiyyah Al-Karimah.
