Quranic Calligraphy Contest Underway in Tatarstan

A Quranic calligraphy contest has underway since February 19 in the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, it has been orgaznied by the Office for Muslims' Religious Affairs.
The office announced that the competition has been organized with the aim of promoting religious arts and disseminating Quranic culture in the society.
Those willing to attend the contest may email their works to 2646419@mail.ru or send them to the secretariat of the contest at the religious office by March 1.
Quranic concepts and teachings as well as the names of God should be the themes of the artworks.
Top calligraphers will be awarded at a ceremony to be held on March 14 at the office in Kazan, the capital city.
