Winners of Nat’l Quran Competition for Young Adults Awarded

The title winners in the 34th edition of the national Quran competition for young adults called “Shokufeha” (blossoms) received their awards at the closing ceremony.
The ceremony was held Monday night, February 25, near the mausoleum of Imam Reza (AS) in the holy city of Mashhad.
Sajjad Ansaripour from Khorasan Razavi province, Reza Arabi Mehrbani from Tehran, Seyyed Taha Hosseini from Bushehr, Reza Nejadtabrizi from Isfahan and Milad Asheghi from East Azarbaijan bagged the first prize in the categories of recitation, Tarteel, Adhan (call to prayer), memorization of 20 Juzes (parts) of the Quran and memorization of the entire Quran, respectively.
148 boys under the age of 16 from different provinces of the country took part in the national competition that was held for three days in Mashhad.
