Awqaf Organization Pioneer in Implementing Quran Memorization Plan
Head of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization’s Quranic Affairs Center said the organization is a pioneer in implementing the national plan for training 10 million memorizers of the holy Quran.
Speaking to IQNA’s Khorasan Razavi province, Vali Yarahmadi added that the organization has paid special attention in Quranic fields to the guidelines of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei.
He said one of the manifestations of the Awqaf Organization’s Quranic efforts has been the successful organization of Quranci programs like Iran’s International Quran Competition.
Yarahmadi noted that in line with the Quran memorization plan, courses were held in all provinces of the country with the participation of prominent Quran scholars and experts.
He said these courses play an important role in attracting the youth to Quranic activities and programs.
According to Mr. Yarahmadi, the courses, some which are held in holy sites across the country, are, among other things, aimed at identifying talents in the fields of Quran recitation, memorization, Tarteel, etc.
He went on to say that the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization through its extensive Quranic programs has paved the way for the youth to enter Quranic fields.
