Quran Memorization Contest Concludes in UAE
The United Arab Emirate’s national Quran memorization contest wrapped up earlier this week.
According to Al-Bayan newspaper, the competition was held for two groups of male and female participants by the Dubai International Holy Quran Award Institute.
“Women’s Movement” Association in Dubai hosted the closing ceremony of the contest held in cooperation with Dubai Municipality.
The male participants section was held at the Association of Islah and Social Guidance and female participants competed at the Association of “Women’s Movement”.
155 representatives from various Quran memorization centers and institutes all over the UAE attended the national contest, from among whom 79 were female Quran memorizers and 76 others were male participants.
