Educational Course for Imams of Mosuqes in Russia

Russian government plans to hold a series of educational courses for the country’s imams of mosques.

According to ajib news agency, the long-term courses will be held for the first time ever and that participants will receive course completion certificate by the end of the course.
Some Russian scholars believe that the government is determined to execute the plan pursuing the aim of controlling religious activities of the country. However, the government has claimed it is seeking promotion of imams’ religious knowledge.
