Seminar on Quranic Media Planned in Cairo

A seminar titled “Quranic Media” is planned to be held in the Egyptian capital of Cairo next month, Al-Mistriyun daily reported.
Slated for April 2-3, the two-day seminar is jointly organized by the media, publications and information dissemination committee of the Tabligh World Islamic Council, World Quran Memorization Society, and Ahl-ul-Quran Satellite Network.
A number of Quran scholars and thinkers, Quran activists and officials of media outlets of organizations affiliated to the council will take part in the conference.
The Tabligh World Islamic Council is an international body coordinating the activities of over 100 grassroots and non-governmental Islamic organizations.
Among the organizations affiliated to the council are the Islamic Waqf Society of Nigeria, the Cultural-Islamic Society of Mauritanian and Western Africa, Sudan’s Awqaf and Culture Ministry, Quds International Institute, and the scholars councils of Morocco and Senegal.
