Forum on Religion Studies Planned in Uzbekistan
A scientific forum on religion studies will be held on April 9 at the Islamic University of Tashkent, the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to IQNA’s branch in Central Asia, the program will be organized by the Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs of the country in cooperation with the university and Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Higher Education.
Courses on history of religions and religion studies at public schools, universities and higher education institutes of the republic and new methods for promotion of such courses will be investigated at the forum.
It will be attended by a number of scholars, intellectuals, experts in religious fields and university lecturers and students.
