Anti-government Protests in Bahrain

Ahead of Bahrain’s Formula One Grand Prix, Bahraini revolutionaries held demonstrations in protest to the rulers of the country.
According to Sawat-al-Manama website, police forces attacked the protesters with sound bombs and tear gas.
The interior ministry also announced some of the protesters have been arrested.
Bahrain’s February 14 Coalition has issued a statement holding the ruling regime responsible for the attacks on people who had gathered to voice their objection to the policies of the Al-e Kahlifa regime.
The Formula One race began in Al-Sanabes on Friday, April 19 and will continue for three days.
Since mid-February 2011, thousands of pro-democracy protesters have staged numerous demonstrations in the streets of Bahrain, calling for the Al Khalifa royal family to relinquish power.
