1st Annual Meeting of Muslims in Rouen

The Union of Muslims in Rouen, France, will hold the first meeting of the city's Muslims on April 28.
According to Saphirnews website, the program was planned one month after the successful organization of the annual gathering of French Muslims.
Tareq Oubrou, director of the Bordeaux Mosque, Noura Jaballah, head of the European Union of Muslim Women and a number of eminent Muslim figures will present speeches at the program.
The status of Muslims and Islam in the French society and the status of mankind in the Holy Quran are some of the themes to be discussed at teh gathering.
It will also be attended by representatives from the Islamic Aids Organization of France, Catholic Relief Services and the Committee for Charity and Support for the Palestinians (CBSP).
The organizers of the meeting believe that holding such programs will help to introduce the true Islam in a society where people are influenced by anti-Islamic propaganda.
