Festival in Germany in Support of Palestinian Prisoners
Representatives of institutions and solidarity activists in Germany announced developing their movements to make a qualitative leap in support of the issue of prisoners in Israeli jails, especially the hunger strikers.
This came during a festival held in solidarity with prisoners in Israeli jails and in commemoration of the Palestinian Prisoners' Day, on Saturday evening in the German city of Dortmund.
Hundreds of people participated in the festival which included speeches delivered by the Palestinian assembly in Germany, the Palestinian community in Mönchengladbach and German Palestinian Friendship Association in Wuppertal.
The liberated prisoner Ayman Sharawna also addressed the audience over the phone.
