Takfiri elements in an anti-Islamic move set fire to the grave of Jafar Ibn Abi Taleb in Southern Jordan. Takfiris are extremists who consider some of their fellow Muslims as infidels.
Hundreds of Takfiris attacked the shrine in Al-Mizar region in Southern Jordanian province of Al-Kirk, Arabi press website reported.
The Jordanian government has been silent over the terrorist crime and the country’s media have been banned from reporting on the incident.
The attack came only two days after Wahhabi extremists desecrated the grave of Hujr ibn Adi, a companion of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), near the Syrian capital of Damascus.
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in his latest speech had warned against the moves by Takfiris to desecrate the graves of holy Islamic figures.
