An exhibition of Islamic arts and calligraphy of Quranic verses will start on May 28, in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.
According to IQNA’s honorary corespondent in Dubai, over 900 works of Quranic calligraphy and painting will be put on display at the exhibition.
The Islamic artworks have been created by more than 70 Muslim artists from various countries.
Qasr Al-Emarat in Abu Dhabi will host the exhibition for one week. It is sponsored by the UAE's Authority of Islamic Affairs and endowments.
Quranic calligraphy is a form of artistic writing using the Arabic script. It dates back to the seventh century A.D.
