Shia, Sunni Scholars Must Work out a Solution to Confront Takfiris
Senior cleric Ayatollah Fazel-Lankarani urged Shai and Sunni clerics to confront Takfiris and their ideology of hatred and killing.
Issuing a statement, he censured the killing of four Shia Muslims by Takfiri Salafis in Egypt and said remaining silent over these tragedies will be aiding the enemies of Islam.
He said the corrupt Takfiri scholars who issue Fatwas urging to kill fellow-Muslims are the examples of verse 195 of Surah Al-Baqara “Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allah and cursed by the cursers”.
Ayatollah Fazel-Lankarani said the news about the killing of four Shia Muslims, including Sheikh Hassan Shehata, by Takfiri Salafis hurt the feelings of all Muslims and all humanity.
He regretted that the so-called advocates of human rights not only have remained silent over this heinous crime but are actually accomplices in it behind the scene.
The cleric underlined that it is certain that fomenting division and sowing discord among Muslims is among the key plots hatched by the US and Zionist security and intelligence organizations.
He said what makes these events even more appalling is that the world arrogance has hired some so-called Muslim scholars to help them in implementing their wicked plot by issuing un-Islamic Fatwas that incite to killing and murder.
Ayatollah Fazel-Lankarani went on to say that Muslims must exert pressure on governments and international organizations to seriously fight this evil phenomenon.
