Iranian Embassy in the Philippines Plans Programs for Ramadan

Programs planned by Iranian embassy in the Philippines for the holy month of Ramadan will begin at Iran’s Cultural Center in Manila concurrent with the Nights of Qadr .
According to IQNA’s branch in East Asia, Imam Ali (AS) movie and a biography of the Imam in the Tagalog language will be screened in various parts of the city as well as the southern part of the country.
Iranian Quran activists will recite the Holy Quran’s verses in different programs to be organized during the holy month in grand mosques and government institutions of the Philippines such as Kiapour Golden Mosque, Maharlika Blue Mosque, Kiapour Islamic Center, Islamic Studies Institute of UP, Muhammad (PBUH) Dar-ol-Quran of Maharlika affiliated to the Iranian Cultural Center and Ministry of Muslims’ Affairs in the Philippines.
The Iranian center will also hold a ceremony on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr as well as the congregational Eid prayers in cooperation with Iranian's trading center in the Philippines with the participation of a cleric and preacher to be dispatched from Iran to Manila.
The programs of the embassy planned for Iranian families and students residing in the Philippines and Shia Muslims of the country will introduce Iranian rituals to the participants.
Quran recitation by Iranian Qaris has always been well received by Philippine Muslims.
