A group of artists and calligraphers have worked for 8 years to make the copy, which weighs 200 kilograms.
The 17th edition of the Dubai International Award for the Holy Quran is to kick off in the city this week with the participation of Quran memorizers from some 80 countries.
It is annually held in Dubai during the holy month of Ramadan with different sideline programs including Quran exhibitions and seminars.
