The European Union that had rejected the Zionist-American plot to put Hezbollah on its terrorist list, is now going to consider it in a meeting on Thursday.
EU diplomatic sources said the issue will be discussed in the meeting of EU ambassadors in Brussels, Libanonfiles website reported.
European countries’ views over the issue still differ largely. While Britain and the Netherlands have already named Hezbollah a terrorist group, they two have different approaches.
Amsterdam has adopted a stance in line with the policies of the US and Zionist regime. It has put Hezbollah in its entirety on the list of terrorist organizations but Britain consider only Hezbollah’s military wing a terrorist organization.
Austria, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Slovakia and Malta have adopted a more conservative approach saying that Hezbollah is an influential group in Lebanon and the decision to put it on the terror list may lead to instability in the country.
Following last year’s bomb blast in an Israeli bus in a Bulgarian tourist resort, the Zionist regime put the blame on Hezbollah and called on EU to add the group’s name to its list of terrorist groups.
The Zionists’ claims were proved baseless after an group named Qaeda Al-Jihad took responsibility for the attack.
