EU to Discuss Blacklisting Hezbollah

The foreign ministers of European Union will decide on blacklisting Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah.
European Union governments are due to make a ruling on whether or not to blacklist Hezbollah after baseless allegations that the Lebanese group has stepped up its activities in Europe.
Britain has sought to persuade its EU peers since May to put the Shia Muslim movement on the bloc's terrorism list, claiming evidence that it was behind a deadly bus bombing in Bulgaria last year. The Lebanese resistance movement strongly rejects the allegation.
EU foreign ministers will discuss the issue on Monday in Brussels.
Until now, the EU has resisted pressure from Washington and Israel to blacklist Hezbollah.
