According to IQNA’s branch in Africa, the competition was held for the fourth consecutive year with the participation of students from more than 80 Islamic schools in various parts of the country.
The students competed on memorization of the entire Quran and memorization of 15 Juzes (parts) of the Holy Quran.
The three-day competition was supervised by a group of Quran experts of the country and the top winner was awarded 2000 Dollars in cash as well as an Umrah pilgrimage package.
