2 Million Worshippers Take part in Khatm-e Quran Program in Makkah

Some 2 million pilgrims in the holy city of Makkah took part in a Khatm-e Quran (reading the entire Quran program.
The Masjid-al-Haram was full of worshipers from all over the world Sunday night, Saudi Arabia’s news agency reported.
They went to the mosque to say prayers and read the Quran one of the last nights of the holy month of Ramadan.
Every year, in the final ten days of Ramadan worshipers gather at the mosque in Makkah to say prayers and read the Holy Quran.
The peaks of the gathering take place in the 27th and 29th nights of the holy month.
