According to IQNA’s branch in East Asia, the public relations office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) announced that the library was opened at a ceremony with the participation of Iranian counselor in India, Hojat-ol-Islam Kararavi, imam of the mosque, a number of scholars, religious and cultural figures and Indian citizens.
Addressing the program, Hasankhani, in charge of the Iranian cultural center in Mumbai, congratulated the participants on the occasion of birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS) and said that the library was opened with the aim of providing a reliable source for dissemination of Islamic teachings and getting the younger generation more acquainted with Islam.
He expressed hope that the library be equipped with the latest references as well as cultural and software products in the near future.
Also speaking at the program, Hojat-ol-Islam Kararavi, explained various programs and activities of the library including discussion sessions and forums on religious issues, educational workshops, etc.
He invited the citizens to attend the programs and cooperate with the library in such activities.
