According to mumbai.icro, a number of scholars and intellectuals from various parts of India will participate at the program.
The participants will discuss the importance and the status of unity among Muslims.
Hasankhani, in charge of the Iranian center, said that the center has also planned a religious contest on the occasion to be held from January 1 in various parts of Mumbai.
Objectives and concepts of unity in view of Quran and Hadiths and Seerah of the Messenger of Islam will be the main themes of the contest.
Winners of the contest will be awarded in a ceremony to be held on January 9 (17th of Rabee’-ul-Awal) concurrent with the birthday anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Advertising and educational institutes in Mumbai will cooperate to hold the contest.
Muslims celebrate the auspicious occasions of the bith anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Ja’far Sadeq (AS) on the 17th of Rabee’-ul-Awal month.
