The ceremony was attended by a number of municipality officials including Seyed Hossein Kusheshi, secretary of the municipality’s Quran and Etrat Supreme Council, IRNA reported.
He said the municipality of Tehran plans to launch Dar-ol-Quran centers in all of the city’s 374 neighborhoods.
According to Kusheshi, the centers will coordinate Quranic activities in the neighborhood and promote the Quranic style of life through their programs and activities.
He went on to say that a Quranic council will also be established in every neighborhood to run the Dar-ol-Quran centers.
