According to Al-Dastoor, the course began in a ceremony attended by Zaid Khuzair, director of the Jordanian Society for the Preservation of the Holy Quran.
30 Quran activists have taken the course, held under the supervision of three Quran experts of the region.
They will memorize seven Juzes (parts) of the Holy Quran during the 3-week course.
A series of educational sessions and Quranic workshops have also been planned on the sidelines of the course.
The society opened its new branch in Zarqa Province in 2015. Besides supervising activities of “Imam Al-Kasayi” Quranic Center for Children, the branch is also responsible for directing 13 Quranic institutes in the northern part of the province.
