Educational Course for Qaris Underway in Egypt

TEHRAN (IQNA) - An educational course on syntactic analysis of the Holy Quran is underway for Quran reciters in Egypt.


According to Al-Youm Al-Sabi’ website, the course has been organized by Hasubuyah group since early January and will continue until February 20.

Umar Al-Jundi, a member of the group, said that the course has been planned with the aim of getting the Qaris of the country more acquainted with syntactic rules in the Holy Quran.

He added that such courses will promote Quran recitation skills of the Qaris, help them better understand the Quranic meanings and provide answer to their questions and doubts about grammar of the Quranic verses.

The course is supervised by Mustafa Hamdun Amin, expert in syntax and lecturer of Dar-ol-Ulum Faculty at Cairo University.
