Advanced Quranic Course Underway in Karbala

TEHRAN (IQNA) - An advanced Quranic course has been organized for university students by the Dar-ol-Quran Center of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine in Karbala.


According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of the Husseini holy shrine, 300 students from different parts of the country have taken the course which got underway on February 3.

Ahmad Abbas Hussein, in charge of the center’s Office for Supporting the Elites, said that the educational program aims to develop the Quranic skills of the students.

The participants will master the principles of reading the Holy Quran’s verses during the course, he added.

The Dar-ol-Quran Center is hosting the course for two weeks.

It has been organized in cooperation with the Education Office in Karbala.

Memorization and recitation of the Quranic verses, jurisprudence, Tajweed and computer sciences are also among the themes of the course.
