According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Seyyed Mujtaba Akrami said that the programs are held in cooperation with ICRO’s General Office of Cultural and Art Cooperation for 8 days.
The programs began on February 11 with an exhibition of more than 50 artworks by Iranian artists at Zagreb Europe House.
In cooperation with Croatia schools and universities, the artists plan to hold workshops for students of the country.
The Iranian official said that concerts and cultural and art exhibitions are among the programs of the center to commemorate the occasion.
The Croatian Muslims Association, Zagreb Islamic Center, Municipality of Velika Gorica, the Islamic Center of Rika city, Municipality of Rijeka, Music Academy of Osijek, Music Academy of Zagreb, Municipality of Sisak and Marhamar Charity Association of the city cooperate with the Iranian center to organize the programs.
An exhibition of photos taken by Croat photographers in Iran will be opened on February 18 in Bjelovar City. Iranian traditional music will also be performed on the sidelines of the exhibition at the Museum of the city.
