German Radio to Air Quran Interpretation Program

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A German radio station plans to broadcast a program featuring Tafsir (interpretation of the Quran).

The program will be aired starting from Friday, March 6, Rasad website reported.
In every episode, a verse from the Holy Quran is read and then a senior Muslim cleric gives the interpretation of the verse in four or five minutes.
According to its producer, the radio program aims to promote the teachings of the Quran and Islam.
Germany has the largest Muslim population in Western Europe after France.
Approximately 3 to 3.5 million Muslims live in the European country, most of them being of Turkish origin.
