Int’l Book Fair Planned in Karbala

TEHRAN (IQNA) - An international book fair will be held on the sidelines of the 11th edition of “Rabi'-ul-Shahadah” (spring of martyrdom) international festival in the holy city of Karbala.

According to the information website of Dar-ol-Quran Al-Karim Center of Husseini holy shrine, the exhibition will be organized by the Astans (custodianships) of the holy shrines of Imam Hossein (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS).

Meisar Akram Al-Hakim, member of the organizing committee of the exhibition and in charge of the exhibition affairs, said Hazrat Zeinab (SA) Courtyard will host the book fair for 15 days.

The cultural-religious exhibition is due to open on May 13.

He added that invitations have been sent for some Arab and Islamic countries to participate at the exhibition.

The two Astans will support a special media coverage of the exhibition this year.
