Lebanese Cleric Urges Dialogue among Yemeni Groups

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Senior Lebanese cleric Sayyid Ali Fadhlallah said dialogue among Yemeni groups is the path towards resolution of the crisis in the country.

Fadhlallah in his Friday prayers sermons in Beirut yesterday said foreign intervention and destruction of Yemen’s infrastructures will not end the crisis.
He underlined the need for a political solution to the problems in the Arab country.
On March 26, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies began to militarily interfere in Yemen's internal affairs by launching deadly air strikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
The Saudi-led coalition, including military forces from Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Egypt, Sudan, Bahrain, Morocco, Jordan, and Egypt, has killed hundreds of civilians so far.
Iran and many other countries have condemned the Saudi-led aggression, saying that the Yemeni crisis has political solution only.
