Quran Invites Muslims to Unity, Kindness
Sheikh Ahmed al-Qattan, who heads the Qawlana Wa Amalana Society in Lebanon, added that compassion, unity, fraternity, peace and tolerance are underlined in Islamic and Quranic teachings, libanonfiles website reported.
He urged the Muslim Ummah to get united and stand up against Takfiri terrorist groups like ISIL and the al-Nusra Front.
Sheikh al-Qattan reiterated that victory over ignorance, spitefulness and Takfir is only possible through Muslim unity.
Takfiri groups like ISIL and al-Nusra have been operating in Syria and, in the case of ISIL, in Iraq, over the past years.
The terrorist groups have been receiving supports from certain Western countries as well as some regional states.
They have committed heinous crimes in the areas they control and killed thousands of innocent people.
