46,000 Website Spreading Takfiri Ideologies
Addressing the first international conference on religious media, Muhammad Issa said these websites are propagating Takfiri agenda and working to attract the youth, especially those from Europe, to Takfiri groups, including ISIL.
He added that they pose a threat to the world, adding that terrorism should not be easily propagated.
The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, ISIS or IS) is a terrorist group operating in the Middle East.
The ISIL militants made swift advances in much of northern and western Iraq over the last summer, after capturing large swaths of northern Syria.
Members of the terrorist group have committed heinous crimes in these countries.
They have also carried out terrorist attacks in North African countries like Algeria and Libya.
