TEHRAN (IQNA) - The Du TV will broadcast the nineteenth annual Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) competition free of charge to viewers across the Middle East and North African region.

For the first time, viewers will have the opportunity to watch the awards on Du View, giving them the choice of watching the ceremony from a mobile, tablet or TV set.

The DIHQA, sponsored by the Dubai government, is an annual award given to those who successfully memorize and recite the Holy Quran. The award was established to encourage young Muslims to spread the Quranic values of peace and love by inspiring them to read and understand the Holy Quran.

Du television subscribers can watch the DIHQA channel free on Du's dedicated channels 10 and 653 as well as on Du View. Coverage will be live and continuously aired, starting from the first day of Ramadan and continuing until the last day of Eid.
