Quran Competition Concludes in Bahrain
According to Qaf news agency, this edition of the Quranic event was attended by 260 Quran reciters and memorizers.
Al-Sayyed Mahmoud Husseyniya (public hall for religious ceremonies) in the northern part of the governorate hosted the ceremony.
Recitation and Tajweed principles for two groups of adults and children, and memorization of Surah Muhammad (PBUH) for adults, memorization of Surah Al-Qalam for the youth and memorization of Surah Al-Muzzammil for children were the categories of the competition.
The previous editions of the competition were held at the national level but the 9th edition also had participants from Al-Ahsaa and Qatif, Shia provinces of Saudi Arabia.
The preliminary stage of the competition was held from June 10 to 12.
