1000 Quran Memorizers Honored in Gaza
TEHRAN (IQNA) - The Dar-ol-Quran and Sunnah in the Gaza Strip honored 1000 memorizers of the Holy Quran in a festival.
According to al-sharq website, the festival was held at “Rashad Al-Shawa” Cultural Center of the region in cooperation with “Eid ibn Muhammad Al Thani” Charity Institute.
Sheikh Hassan Al-Laham, Mufti of Gaza, Sheikh Abdullah ibn Sulayman Al-Misri, head of the Dar-ol-Quran and Sunnah of Gaza, Sheikh Abdul Basit Al-Satl and a number of scholars and Quran experts of the region were present in the program.
The officials of the Dar-ol-Quran center thanked the charity institute for supporting the Quranic programs and projects of the center and its efforts in holding the festival.
