The contest was organized on memorization of the 30th Juz (section) of the Quran, the last half Juz of the Quran and the final Hizb (part) of the Holy Book.
The winners were announced by the board of judges at the closing ceremony held at the prayers hall of the Iranian embassy in Madrid, ICRO website reported.
Addressing the ceremony, speakers underlined the need for people, especially the youth to learn and memorize the Quran.
Quran competitions are aimed at promoting the Quranic teachings and concepts and encouraging people to learn the Quran and contemplate it.
