TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international conference is planned to be held in the holy city of Medina to discuss teaching the Quran to the physically-challenged.

It will be attended by experts and scholars from different countries, Al-Jazeera Online reported.

The conference aims to help promote Quran learning among those with different kinds of disabilities.

The King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex will organize the event in cooperation with the Saudi ministry of Awqaf and Islamic affairs.

Islam has a very inclusive perspective of disability and impairment. The message of Islam to all including the disabled and physically impaired is one of hope and patience.

There are many disabled and physically impaired individuals in the Muslim world who can enrich their life through learning and contemplating the Quran.
