Uzbek, Russian Imams to Share Experiences on Prevention of Extremism

TEHRAN (IQNA) - A delegation of Uzbek imams at the invitation of Mufti of Sverdlovsk region of Russia Abdul Kuddus (Nikolay Asharin) left for Yekaterinburg to share experiences on prevention of extremism.

According to the agreements between the Muslim Spiritual Board of Uzbekistan and the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Sverdlovsk region, the sides will attend the number of events in Sverdlovsk region on October 2-7.

The imams will talk to Russian Muslims and migrants and share their experiences on prevention of extremism.

The scheduled events envisage also explanation of the true purpose of Islam, added Mufti Asharin.
