The ceremony will be held in the capital Tehran sometime in February, marking the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, said Yusuf Afrash, who is in charge of organizing the event.
He said winners of national and international Quran competitions are also among those to be honored at the ceremony, Fars news agency reported.
According to Afrash, 17 Quranic institutes and urban and rural Quran houses will also be acclaimed for their achievements.
The Dar-ol-Quran Organization, affiliated to the Islamic Development Organization, organizes the ceremony annually.
