According to Aljazeera.net, the 400 photos taken by Tassos Vrettos, professional Greek photographer, have been put on display at Benaki Museum of the city.
The exhibition aims to introduce the religious culture of different foreign minorities residing in Greece.
While watching the photos of each place, visitors of the exhibition can also hear the recorded supplications which are recited in that place.
Because of its popularity among various groups of the people in Greece and the foreign minorities the exhibition was extended until January 31.
A book which covers information about different religions along with the photos and works of Greek and European authors has also been presented at the museum.
The photographer said that he was allowed to enter the places and take pictures of different parts and programs particularly in special spiritual moments of worship.
