The Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine announced that it has been constructed on a 70000-square meter site and that it includes apartment buildings and a two-floor mosque which will host 1000 male and female worshipers.
Jasim Muhammad Jasim, director of the center’s construction project, said that it also has 11 halls, a health center, a 1500-square meter restaurant.
He added that the Astan has stressed the application of modern technologies in the project.
