According to Fikrah website, a large number of Quran reciters and activists of the region participated in the opening ceremony of the center.
Addressing the program, Khalid Al-Barrak, deputy of the governor of the region said that the establishment of Quranic centers is to serve the society and strengthen the religious beliefs of the people.
Such centers can play an influential role in training generations acquainted with Quranic teachings without having extremist beliefs, he added.
Al-Barrak then called upon eminent social figures and officials to provide the Quranic centers with both financial and spiritual supports.
Khalid Al-Barikan, head of the Supervising Council of the center also said in the program that the most important feature of the center is to teach Quran memorization along with contemplating and interpreting the Quranic verses.
He said that the experts of the center also help to correct the reading of the Divine verses.
It is open to everyone and different groups of the people can use the services of the center, he added.
