Quran Recitation Session Held in Mauritania

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quran recitation session was organized in Mauritania with the participation of 60 Mauritanian Qaris in Nouakchott, the capital city.

According to aqlame.com, the program was held on the sidelines of a religious forum titled "Aid the Holy Prophet (PBUH)” on February 12 at Al-Khatir Hotel of the city.

Ali Al-Razi bin Mukhtar bin Seyyed Al-Mukhtar, a young Quran activist of the African country, recited verses from the Quran at the beginning of the program.

It continued with a speech presented by Seyyed Muhammad Mahmoud bin Badi, Secretary General of the "Aid the Holy Prophet (PBUH)” International Association, who represented Sheikh Ali Al-Reza bin Muhammad Naj Al-Saeedi, head of the association in the forum.

He talked about religious virtues such as piety, patience, hope, trust in God, repentance, etc.

Eulogies about the Holy Prophet (PBUH) were also performed as a part of the program.

The Al-Hurra Radio of the capital city aired the two-hour program live.
