ISIL Executes Eight Dutch Members in Syria: Source

TEHRAN (IQNA) - The Daesh (ISIL) terrorist group executed eight Dutch members of the Takfiri terrorist group in Syria on charges of trying to flee the battlefield, a local source said.

"Daesh executed eight Dutch fighters on Friday in Maadan, Raqqah province, after accusing them of attempting desertion and mutiny," Abu Mohammad, a member of the citizen journalist group "Raqqah is Being Slaughtered Silently” (RBSS), said via Twitter on Monday.

Tension has been simmering in the province over the past month between a group of 75 Dutch militantsof Daesh and the terror group’s intelligence operatives from Iraq, the RBSS said.

The Iraqi members of Daesh arrested three other Dutch militants, accusing them of wanting to escape, the RBSS noted, adding that one of the detainees was beaten to death during the questioning.

According to the citizen journalist group, Daesh leaders in Iraq ordered the arrest of all the members of the Dutch group, and jailed them in Tabaqa and Maadan in Syria.

Some 200 people from the Netherlands, including 50 women, have joined Daesh terrorists in Syria and Iraq, Dutch secret services say.
