Dubai Holy Quran Award Wraps up with Two Final Lectures

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Following six consecutive talks from June 7-12, the open lecture program of the 20th edition of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) came to a close at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


Two more lectures are, however, scheduled on June 13 and 14 at the Dubai Women’s Association, Abu Hail area, whereas the lecture program for foreign communities is to kick off June 16-23 at 10:30pm in the Indian Academic School, Muhaisana-4, with a talk in Malayalam on the "Influence of the Holy Quran on humanity’s heart”, according to GToday.

The program, spanning talks in Arabic, Malayalam, Bengali and Tamil, is an essential part of Ramadan activities under the Award which is annually organized under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The International Quran Competition, the main branch of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, started Monday with eight competitors who are qualified to sit the final tests after clearing the initial examinations. Eight more memorizers are to sit the final examinations on Tuesday night, June 14.
