Quran Recitation Contest Held in Morocco

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Morocco’s Ministry of Justice and Religious Affairs organized Friday morning in Shaheed El Hafed, refugee camps, a Holy Quran recitation contest involved the children of the Quranic schools in all Wilayas.

The contest sponsored by the Central Directorate of Religious Affairs included three types of recitations (quarter, half and whole Quran) and facilitated by licensed Imams in reciting the Holy Quran, in the presence of regional directors of religious affairs and central directors in the ministry.

The winners will be honored in a ceremony Saturday night in the Wilaya of Boujdour, during which they will arrange a collective iftar table and deliver religious lectures.
